Te Kinga's big day out!

 On Tuesday our class went down to the lake but before, we went on the Velinski track and someone got lost and we had to find them. It was Kaelyn. She was at the seat at the top, Blake and Leo had to help do the first aid and they failed. Then we walked down to the lake and we went on the swing bridge walk and we did our first aid. At the lake we built shelters we had 30 mins and our hut did not fall down that much and we basically won the competition. Then we made fires I got some stones and wood to build the fire it went for ages and ages and we made smores then and went back to school.

Topic

 In class today we were doing topic. Our group had to build a bridge with the materials that our teacher gave us. She gave us a toy truck that we had to test on the bridge. We had wooden sticks, pip cleaners and tooth picks. We stacked the wooden sticks. The bridge worked and it did not brake.

I build lake brunner school in mincraft.

 In the weekend I wanted to challenge myself. So I copied Lake Brunner School then made it in minecraft education. I made the three class rooms and the library and I am finishing the playground. Soon I am going to build the houses around the school the kids are minecraft villagers. It took two days am I am happy with it so far.

Te Kinga bush walk

 

On Thursday our class went up Te Kinga to the second lookout. I was hungry when we got to the second lookout. We were there for a while and I was mostly eating. There was a big rock down the mountain. When we got to the bottom. Some people went for a swim I made a fire with Solomon, Blake and Leo, Nic broke it. Then I made a volcano and then when back to school and it was fun!     

that is the value of sport and physical education at school?

I think sport keeps you fit and you can meet new friends. You learn how to work along others. You can compete with other people and against other teams, sometimes you get a day off too, It is usually all day. You learn new skills, and the main thing is to have fun!

rocks

                               

 

                            In Term 1 we are learning about rocks small and large. Some rocks have holes some don't , some were smooth some were bumpy we went around the tables to see all the different types of rock. We examined the rocks and wrote down all the features of the rock. It was very fun.
